Faith

Faith in God and a higher power has always been a part of the American story, and it’s central for millions of Latinos today. It shapes and guides the way many Americans live, work, and show up for their communities.

When people are free to live out and practice their faith, those values go well beyond the church; they show up in thousands of communities across the country.

Across the country, churches and faith-based communities provide guidance, stability, and support, especially in times of hardship and need.

For Latino service members, faith has offered strength in moments of sacrifice. For hardworking families, it provides purpose, resilience, and a commitment to caring for others.

Religious freedom is a core part of what it means to be American. The freedom to worship openly and without fear is one of the ideas that make this country exceptional and free.

Faith is about freedom, dignity, and service. When people are free to live out their beliefs, they’re better able to give back, support their neighbors, and strengthen the communities they care about.
